We've watched this film in class, and even though it is 52 years old, even i found this enjoyable and I am not the type to enjoy 'old fashioned' films. With plot that twists and turns, it has many maguffins that drag the viewers attention and provide subliminal messages within the film, one being:
'Phoenix office worker Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) is fed up with the way life has treated her. She has to meet her lover Sam in lunch breaks and they cannot get married because Sam has to give most of his money away in alimony.'
